anybody have any ideas or products that will help control common groundsel in strawberries? It's becoming a major weed problem here in Nova Scotia.
Hi Jackson, Not sure if Goal herbicide maufactured by Dow AgroSciences is something you have tried. It is a broadleaf herbicide registered in strawberries with the following weeds on the label: Common Purslane, Redroot Pigweed, Cupped Nightshade (Potatoweed), Wild Buckwheat, Lamb's-quarters, Oak-leaved Goosefoot, and Maple-leaved Goosefoot, Field Pansy and Wood Sorrell. It may be worthwhile checking with the manufacturer on whether common groundsel would be controlled with the product. And always remember to follow label directions...good luck!
