July marked the opening of Florence Estate Winery on County Rd 45 near Silver Hill, Ontario. This beautiful spot is one of the first wineries to open along Ontario's South Coast in Norfolk County. The winery offers several red and white wines for tasting from their 2005 and 2006 crops as well as a charming gift shop and restaurant.
The property has 14 acres of vines and is surrounded by Carolinian Forests open to visitors for exploring and bird watching.
